Following the publication of our article [1] we noticed an error in Table 2. All values are presented as mean ± standard deviation but some, where indicated in the table, should in fact be presented as n [%].

Table 2. Admission and outcome parameters of study patients

Table 2 should therefore appear as shown in this correction.
