Q3 What advantages do full text articles have over articles presented in pdf format?

A3 The main advantage of full text articles is the extensive hyperlinks they contain. Hyperlinks enable you to move quickly from one part of the article either to another part of the article or to one of the many 'functions' we offer. Examples of these functions are:
  • Emailing the article to a friend
  • Finding 'related articles' in PubMed
  • Going from a reference to its abstract on PubMed
  • Finding other papers in PubMed by the same author(s)
  • Downloading the references for your own use
Go to any commentary, review, or research article to try these functions.
