Choose between paying per click-through or per 1000 impressions with any of our advertising link options.

Banners and Skyscrapers
$35 CPM (cost per 1000 impressions) or $1000 set up fee plus $5 CPC (cost per click-through).

Sponsored link
$5 CPC (pay only for clicks received).

Sponsored emails

3 lines of text at the top, 9 lines of text at the bottom $200 CPM

10 lines of text in middle of message $200 CPM.

Note All advertising campaigns based on $5 per click-through must be approved before going live. Advertisements must attract click-throughs in order to qualify for this method of payment. Advertisements designed to enhance branding that do not give a message to encourage click-throughs can be paid for on a CPM basis.

Every year Critical Care publishes the poster abstracts for the International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (ISICEM). The meeting website can be found at http://www.intensive.org/main.html

Full-page (with bleed) = 286 x 222 mm (journal page size plus 3mm bleed all round)
½ page (no bleed) = 115 x 175 mm
½ page (with bleed) = 138 x 222 mm
¼ page (no bleed) = 115 x 84mm
¼ page (with bleed) = 138 x 106 mm

Adverts, together with colour proof, can normally be accepted in the following formats:

  1. PDF file CMYK adverts should be supplied as composite PDF. Adverts with two or more spot colours must be supplied as separated PDF
  2. Postscript file
  3. Quark Xpress files with fonts and graphics supplied
  4. EPS files with fonts and images embedded
  5. Films Positive, right reading, emulsion down, 170 lines per inch
